Product Description
Explore a wealth of new rules options for both players and Dungeon Masters in this supplement for the world’s greatest roleplaying game.
The beholder Xanathar — Waterdeep’s most infamous crime lord — is known to hoard information on friend and foe alike. The beholder catalogs lore about adventurers and ponders methods to thwart them. Its twisted mind imagines that it can eventually record everything!
Xanathar's Guide to Everything is the first major expansion for fifth edition Dungeons & Dragons, offering new rules and story options:
- Over twenty-five new subclasses for the character classes in the Player’s Handbook, including the Cavalier for the fighter, the Circle of Dreams for the druid, the Horizon Walker for the ranger, the Inquisitive for the rogue, and many more.
- Dozens of new spells, a collection of racial feats, and a system to give your character a randomized backstory.
- A variety of tools that provide Dungeon Masters fresh ways to use traps, magic items, downtime activities, and more — all designed to enhance a D&D campaign and push it in new directions.
Amid all this expansion material, Xanathar offers bizarre observations about whatever its eyestalks happen to glimpse. Pray they don’t come to rest on you.
* - Expanded racial feats not available in Adventurers League play.
** - Limited to the first 10,000 pre-orders.
Will players in my campaign also have access to the alpha testing for the mobile app? I know my wife is jumping up and down in anticipation.
This is real good! A big thank you to the D&D Beyond team for all the work and dedication!!! :D
I pre-ordered the first day you had it available. How do I claim my bonus?
Awesome! Very happy to have pre-ordered it! Thanks, all!
As someone with a tremendous love of D&D, but a limited budget, it really seems a shame I can't couple my physical and Beyond purchase together.
Dungeons And dragons will always be physical first in my heart, and digital second. I've purchased all the Beyond sourcebooks, and I'll continue to do so. But if the rise of pre order bonuses means that I'll miss out due to my financial responsibilities, I'll say good bye to the app.
Will you let us know when you hit 10,000 pre-orders, or will we have the option to turn down the chance to alpha-test the mobile app and give the next person in line our slot, or what?
Will there be any warning or announcement for when the 10,000 pre-order limit for alpha access has been reached? That's 99% of the reason why I'd want to pre-order.
Can anyone say if/when the expanded racial feats will be adventure league legal?
huh... so these racial feats aren't part of the hardcopy then? preordering on here is the only means of gaining access? kind of unfortunate. In the future I would prefer to see UI fluff as preorder incentives and not so much content that everyone might enjoy. Particularly for those who prefer to just stick to getting the physical books.
How do I know if I'm one of the first 10,000?
When do we get the pre-order bonuses? Now or when Xanathar's comes out?
