D&D Beyond is excited to announce the release of the all-new, consolidated D&D Beyond App! Gone are the days of two separate apps: we’ve combined the power of the D&D Beyond toolset with new mobile features to make your Dungeons & Dragons 5th-edition games more accessible and more fun. The app is available to download for free on iOS and Android.
The toolset makes it easier to reference D&D content, with features ranging from a guided character creation, dynamic character sheets and spell management, plus the ability to search and bookmark books in your library. The app is the perfect mobile solution for every D&D player — whether you’re a new player, a veteran campaigner, or legendary Dungeon Master.
Play with Advantage
Mobile character creation is easier with the character builder tool walking you through every step of the character creation process. You’ll never have to enter a game without your character sheet again — access your characters online or offline and be ready for skill checks, attack rolls, saving throws, or whatever twists your DM throws at you. Manage your character's health, abilities, spells, and inventory.
Forgot your dice? Roll directly in the app with themed digital dice sets!
Dungeon Masters will enjoy the ability to easily access monster stat blocks and game rules in the D&D Beyond App. Bookmark your favorite monsters or frequently used rules, search spells, and gaze longingly over your backlog of characters you'd love to play (some day, maybe...).
What if I already own the Player App or Reader App?
Adventurers who have the D&D Beyond Player App will simply need to update the app to access the new tools! If you are using the D&D Beyond Reader App, you'll need to migrate over to the new app.
Will the dm guide still crash the app tho?
Very nice! Especially when I'm trying to do game prep on break at work, being able to access the whole range on my phone is going to be pretty helpful. Will also be handy for some of my more forgetful players when we get back to meeting up in person again.
I second this question!
Finally!
So excited for the merge!
Yay! This helps me DMing so much! When will it be released?
Hopefully the encounter builder/combat tracker will be included in the new app

Awesome!
Boldly stated. But I remain... Unconvinced.
heck yea
I don't like this. My iPod Touch REFUSES to upgrade to iOS 13. As a result, I can ONLY use the reader app. Not being able to use it anymore will suck.
Will there be a Microsoft Store app available for those of us with a Microsoft tablet?
Back in the day i used to DM in low wifi/4G reception areas so i needed to print a lot of materials off from Beyond before i left.
Great News! Thanks!

I liked the DDB reader app because it didn't force my eyes to burn, tear up and hurt with that dark theme. Will this consolidated app have a light theme finally, or will it still try to stab me in the eye constantly? If it will be dark, can we keep the reader app as well, since I can at least look at that for prolonged times, unlike the ddb player app which constantly strains and hurts my eyes since the first pre alpha release and is not been addressed since then, even though this is a huge usability and accessibility issue that renders the app not only useless, but practically harmful to me?
When is it changing?
Awesome! Now we can experience the gatekeeping paywall on our mobile devices!
You can always just make stuff up on your own. Without any books
Awesome!!! Will we be able to create encounters through the app into our campaigns? And finally roll for monsters in the app as well... A man can dream 💭
