Spring is here, and we're celebrating with a sale! All sourcebooks and adventure books in our marketplace are 25% off. (Bundles are excluded.) You won't need to roll a Persuasion check to snag this offer, either. The discount has already been applied in-store, with a minimum $1.99 purchase required. So, now is the perfect time to preorder your copy of Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft, whether you're a DM hoping to unleash unspeakable horrors at your table or a player itching to explore new character options, like the College of Spirits bard and Undead warlock!
Act quick, though: This sale ends May 2, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. PT! Happy dice-rolling!

Posted Apr 23, 2021Great discount to expand your library :)
The discount isn't applied in the mobile app at the moment. It would be great to have have it their as well in order to users to be able to use the credits they have with their respective app stores for purchases.

Posted Apr 23, 2021This is great, but.......
It's a shame it doesn't apply to bundles. Right now, for example, it's cheaper to buy the 4 source books individually than to buy the bundle of 4 in your market place. This could come across as misleading (unintentionally I am sure) as you tell people they'll save with the bundle.

Posted Apr 23, 2021I just bought the Monster Manual off DnD Beyond yesterday...at full price. Lousy timing on my part, but cool for people wanting to add to their stuff.

Posted Apr 23, 2021I have the legendary bundle, and I had a total of 32% off I believe. Not sure how the math works, but I think the bundle gives 15% off, and then maybe it's 25% of what is left, which makes it 32% off from the original price.

Posted Apr 23, 2021It's honestly ludicrous that I own nearly all the physical books, but to use them with my online group I have to buy them all over again, and then I have to have a subscription on top of that. Ridiculous.

Posted Apr 23, 2021I know! I own every book and I have to re-buy them on here! There should be some kind of code or scannable thing to transfer content to the website.

Posted Apr 23, 2021Can someone confirm that there is no plan to implement the discount in the App?
Some clarity here would help, especially because you've been promoting the new app. Otherwise people might make a costly mistake, and bilking customers I'm sure is not your intention.

Posted Apr 23, 2021DDB is literally a different company than the one that owns D&D. Think of DDB as a digital game store that (at least for now) only sells D&D products and services. It can be confusing, but it is not DDBs fault.

Posted Apr 23, 2021I'm sure this is the number 1 complaint that they get. As I too have bought every book physically and digitally, but what can you do? 🤷

Posted Apr 23, 2021Is it intended that there is no discount when purchasing with the new App?

Posted Apr 23, 2021People tend to forget, or rather just dont take the time to research, that DDB is a completely separate company from WoTC. The same way Roll20 makes you buy books solely for their VTT. The good part about digital content thought is that it's always updated with errata compared to physical copies.

Posted Apr 23, 2021does this apply to getting just pats of a source book? (like one spell from the PHB, or all monsters from MToF as examples)

All individual items are $1.99 and minimum sale price is $1.99, so no. I´m not sure about buying multiple single things.
