You never did care for the mundane safety of city life. You have always felt the need to push the limits of yourself and and boundaries of civilization itself. Many would disregard you as just another strange outlander or some hermit who throws caution to the wind. How wrong they are. Civilizations owe all that they are to people like you. Brave individuals, unafraid of the unknown and determined to not only seek out new lands but to claim them for both yourself and others who are brave enough to follow you.

Feature: Homesteader
You know it's best not step on anyone's toes when it comes to land and you have an excellent memory for maps and geography. You can always recall the general layout of claimed settlements, ruins, or other features around you. In addition, you can find food and water for yourself and up to three other people each day, provided that the land offers some sort of bounty. In addition, most major cities and settlements recognize your post as a pioneer and may offer rewards to claim certain positions or land holdings and settle the land for them.
Suggested Characteristics
Pioneers are often misunderstood as cocky or reckless to others and some might even see them as greedy. In truth, pioneers admire freedom and adventure more than anything else. In reality, the most important bond a pioneer can have is to themselves, their people, nation, or some higher ideal.
