Either as a result of the Last War raging in Cyre, or of the Mourning itself, you lost your home and family and have spent a year or more outside the borders of the Mournland, or perhaps in a refugee camp in New Cyre. You may or may not be aware of family friends or relatives elsewhere in Khorvaire. Four years after the Mourning, you are either still in the camp/woods, or are in search of a new home and family.
- Skill Proficiencies: Survival proficiency - can be applied to any ability of the player's choice including Constitution; and any one other skill
- Tool Proficiencies: Choose any one tool set, kit or instrument and describe in your back story how you learned use it
- Languages: One standard language of your choice. You picked up this language by talking to a fellow refugee.
