Having lived a life of honest, skilled labor, your background includes apprenticeship and/or mastery at the task of commercial fletching.  You are abundantly skilled at crafting the fin-shaped stabilizers attached to the butts of arrows, crossbow bolts, and darts; attachments normally crafted from feathers or other flexible materials.

Skill Proficiencies: You gain proficiency in Slight of Hand and with any weapons requiring ammunition that would be fletched.
Tool Proficiencies: Tinkers' Tools, Smiths' Tools
Languages: You gain whatever language, beyond common, that the DM determines is the most used language for commerce in your location.
Equipment: A set of tinkers' tools, a set of common clothes, a book on fletching for magical ammunition, a bundle of feathers, proof of guild membership in the Fellowship of Bowyers and Fletchers, an Explorer's pack, a small box containing an exotic arrowhead collection, an expanded quiver with a 30 arrow capacity, and a pouch containing 10g.

Feature: Jigged Up

You can create fletched projectiles from the crudest of resources.  During each short rest, you can create 1d10 pieces of fletched ammunition.

When in combat, if using fletched ammunition that you have created yourself, you may chose ONE of the following BEFORE EACH such attack roll:

1) Improved Critical: The attack scores a critical hit on a natural roll of 19 or 20.

2) Loop-De-Loop: By forcing the ammunition to loop upward and then behind you, a creature within melee range can be attacked using this ranged weapon without imposing disadvantage or opportunity attacks.  (Caution - If target can move as a reaction and does so, you are then your own new target.)  REQUIRES: One unoccupied space in front of you, directly opposite the target behind you.  EXPENDS: Your bonus action in addition to this attack.

3) Altered Windage: You can curve fired ammunition in midair.  Instead of targeting a creature, you may target a presumed, unseen space around a wall that would provide a creature cover.  You may fire on this space without imposing disadvantage.  Cover is ignored when using this ability.  While ammunition does not make 90 degree turns, for this stunt to work, the targeted space must be an evened 90 degree destination.  For instance, four spaces ahead of you and four spaces around the wall to your right.  Ammunition flies parallel to the floor, curving in a perfect arc around the room whose result mimics a would-be 90 degree turn.  If you hit a creature in this manner, the damage is reduced by 2.  REQUIRES: Zero obstructions along the path of the arc.  For instance, in the four spaces by four spaces example, there cannot be any obstructions (apart from the identified wall) in a circle, eight spaces in diameter, in front of your position. EXPENDS: Your bonus action in addition to this attack.
