The trade cities of Thesk are home to thousands of human Kara-Tur immigrants, refugees, and expatriates who have come to the western end of the Golden Way in search of a new beginning in new lands. Most of these folk are commoners and artisans, but more than a few Kara-Tur adventurers have joined in the exodus to the west, curious about the distant and barbaric land of Faerûn.
