Traveling around Teusa has always been a harrowing endeavor. You are part of the elite group of people who dedicate their lives to mapping the lands above and below, looking for watering holes, ore veins, or sources of food. Without the trailblazers the caravans would not run, cities couldn't be built, and life as most know it wouldn't exist. The trailblazers don't formally work together but once they meet up they band together to expand parts of their maps.

- Equipment: Carpenters tools, Bavigators tools, a small bit of a map you're currently working on, a quill, 2 ink bottles,and a journal.
Each trailblazer has something they focus on while drawing maps. This way even if they are mapping an area previously mapped they can add new information to the area. Some trailblazers study the flora and fauna of an area, drawing detailed descriptions and noting where they live, others map wind and weather patterns looking for the best time to travel through, and others still find more things to add to their maps. Work with your DM to determine what interested you as you mapped the countryside or you use the table below and roll randomly.

Without a map or any tools other than your own senses you can determine clues about where you are and how to get to places or resources you want. After a day of investigation you can start to lead a path towards your objective. The path you make will take three times as long as other paths to your destination.
Suggested Characteristics
Trailblazers are normally full of energy and life for their work. Against the desert heat and cold they spend their time alone amongst the dunes thinking only of their job. Some do this job only for the vast amounts of money they can make, but most find the greatest joy in fighting against the land itself, in an effort to tame the wild. Sometimes dangerously happy go lucky the trailblazers are a daring few.
