Home is where you hang your hat. Given an hour or so, you can easily find a the safest place on the road to make a camp for yourself and three other people. You can possible find space for a larger party, but at greater difficulty. You are best at taking care of yourself. In small cities and towns, you know how to find a safe place to catch your breath and have a short rest. In addition to this, you know where to look in town for other drifters such as yourself. You can ask them for information on the area, where to find food and rest, and who/what/where to avoid. Some drifters will only give you this information in exchange for a small favor in kind, usually a drink, some food, or a story from the road. Some cities are so large or foreign to you that you are out of your element, and it becomes difficult to find a safe place, and the longer you stay in one place, the more likely someone will find you.
