You became some sort of political figure in one way or another. You are a master of public speaking and persuasion. You could have been anything from a mayor to a prince to a leader of any sort. There is no one way that politicians grow up. You could have grown up a rich child who became a political figure or a poor urchin who spent their days on the streets and grew up reading textbooks to gain the position you got. When you choose this background, discuss where you became a political figure with your DM, as it could change your character drastically.
