For whatever reason, you were raised in isolation, whilst the rest of your siblings already had the favour of your parents. Whether it was because you were different somehow, or you were a sore in your family's eyes, you don't know. What you did know, is that no one would let you out of your room or even open the door, unless it was to let you eat and use the privy. Perhaps your siblings snuck in to socialize with you, or you found some other means for interaction, but nevertheless you didn't let yourself be broken. Or maybe your mind had already been changed, and perhaps even corrupted. Nevertheless, you found some way, later in life, to escape that hellhole.
- Skill Proficiencies: Being the type of child who would earn piercing glares when seen, you learned to stay out of sight and know when to open your mouth. You gain proficiency in the Stealth and Insight skills.
- Tool Proficiencies: You may have tried out different hobbies to distract yourself, or even took to disguising yourself to escape the house unseen at times, therefore you may choose between the Disguise Kit, Painter's Supplies, Tinker's Tools, Weaver's Tools, or the Thieve's Tools.
- Languages: If you choose to be born from a midnight tryst between your father and the Orc/Elf maid/concubine, you may know the language of either one. You know Elvish or Orcish. However, if you chose to have been born normally, because of your possible secret outings, you may choose between Halfling, Gnomish or Dwarvish.

Your mind is wired in many different ways from everyone else. You may seem cold and emotionless to others, or you may be easily frightened or confused. Perhaps, even, you see the world in some kind of grand illusion, forcing yourself to believe that all is much better than it may seem.
