Confused and frightened. A mentally challenged dwarf orphan who was cast out from his town and the only home he ever knew for trying to help a Dire Badger that the local guards thwarted. The Dire Badger ends up more than a companion when you accidentally made a pact with a Celestial who twisted your friend and changed him to serve you. Now you wander the lands attempting to help anyone who seems to be in destress with a resurrected Dire Badger because its all you know how to do.
Mostly Relys on familiar for its offensive needs.
Does not like violence. If forced, casts sacred weapon and turns around and covers with a large shield on his back for protection.
If Familiar is damaged severely, will lash out with Eldritch blast or sacred flame to help Familiar.

Abandoned by the dwarven covenant as an infant due to his mental incapacity, a human village chanced upon 5. The village as a whole decided to collectively take care of him while he resides in the local Church of Silverstar (Selune) as he grew, his only goal in life was to help others as they have helped him his whole life. He didn't understand the difference between enemies and friends. Anyone who needed help, recieved it regardless. On the day of his 25 adopted birthday, the village had a minor attack from the creatures in the forest near by. The guards quickly dispatched the threat but five saw a wounded giant badger and rushed to its side. As the guards attempted to kill it again, five lashed out and jumped on a guard to try and help the badger. He was struck several times by the surrounding guards and thrown to the ground. Not understanding what he did wrong, 5 followed the badger who was retreating into the forest. For several days, he wandered in the woods stumbling around trying to stay with the badger as best he can. (Badger acknowledges 5 as not a threat) Eventually they became sort of a companionship; any time the badger was wounded, 5 would heal it no matter how minor. Eventually the two stumbled upon a sight so beautiful that 5 could not help but cry. On a small hill right as the sun was setting, there stood a large majestic Unicorn. For days, all 5 could think about was wanting to walk with a unicorn. So much that he kept trying to tie sticks onto the badgers head to replicate what he saw. The badger tolerated his nonsense for a little while, then refused to allow 5 to continue. This angered 5, until he came up with a plan. He knew he was able to heal any damage done to his badger friend and remembered vaguely when he accidentally healed a soldier in town while an arrow was still lodged in his shoulder. The skin healed quickly around the arrow and it stayed in place. He had been punished severely for this. So in the middle of the night, 5 placed a large metal spike he had come across in the middle of the badgers skull and struck it with a large rock. Already prepared with his healing magic to seal the wound, the badger flailled, bucking 5 off. He was dieing very quickly despite 5's healing. He did not understand, why wasn't badger friend feeling better? He healed the wound around the spike and he was not bleeding anymore. As the badger lay dying on the ground, 5 screamed to his god Selûne. Begged her to help his badger friend, begged any and all gods who could hear him to help fix what he did not understand. Selûne heard the cry of one of her devoted servants and beseeched the celestial unicorn nearby to aid. The Celestial granted 5 the power to revive his friend under the condition he makes a pact with him. 5 obliged and up arose his badger friend. He was not the same. He sprinted from 5 and disappeared from sight. At this, 5 accused the celestial of tricking him and demanded that his badger friend be returned. He had not paid any attention to the powers or feelings this being had just bestowed upon him. A flash of light emunated from the Celestial and one phrase ran through his mind that he would remember for the rest of his life. "You asked for this, and when I call you will answer me". 5 was left in the dark, weeping for his loss. After what seemed like an eternity in the night, he heard a noise in the bushes. Out came his badger friend! But upon his head he saw the spike still protruding from his skull with an addition. Around the spike, he saw a grotesque iron crown similarly buried in his skull, (permanent crown of madness) he heard a voice coming from his badger friend. "I will accompany you master" in a strange struggling voice.
