You were kidnapped as a young child by the Fey and spirited away to the Feywild. Within the confines of this mysterious magical realm, those taken in such a manner usually do not survive long especially when Hags or other dark Fey creatures are involved. However, some do manage to avoid such a fate and are raised as slaves, servants, playthings, or companions, etc.
You were more fortunate than most of your ilk surviving long enough to demonstrate a natural connection to the Feywild and reveal yourself to be Feytouched, i.e. a kindred spirit. Earning your freedom you were then permitted to come and go from the Feywild as you please.
- Skill Proficiencies: Insight, Perception
- Languages: Two of your choice
Even though you may not be of actual Fey blood or racial stock all Fey you encounter will recognize you as Feytouched and treat you as one of their own. You have advantage against charm effects and can not be put to sleep by magical means.
Feytouched that leave the Feywild will automatically succeed on any saving throws needed to retain their memories of their stay in the Feywild but such memories can be jumbled or a little hazy and contribute to their overall eccentric behaviors.
