
Arlo is a troubled soul who is part of the Zhentarim faction operating in Edgeport. He was adopted into the faction after being found in a field outside of the Ruins of Arendale which used to be his hometown before the rift had opened on that fateful day. He is known as the lone survivor because throughout his expeditions as an archeologist with the Zhentarim he has never met anyone from Arendale, not even the two fabled heroes who served the town in those dreaded days. During his time in the Zhentarim, He was adopted by Merdel, an older member of the faction who was in her years of retirement and was the only true member he cared for. Currently, Arlo is serving as the head Archeologist within the Zhentarim but with feeling a lack of control and an opposing set of morals within the faction he's searching for a way out so he can strive to meet his true goals.
