Campaign Lore:

You are one of the ten souls brought back from the glimpse of death by the combined power of three divine entities.
Mystra, Kelemvor and Oghma saw in you the spark that makes heroes and they are in dire need of help.

Therefore, you awoken anew in Faerûn, a world governed by gods, magic and monsters. Since as a soul you can’t do much, you’ll be given the body of a freshly fallen adventurer. For you as for him/her, it is a new chance for a second life but this one will not be as easy as you thought. Indeed, you’ve been tasked to accomplish what even the deities cannot, bring back the Stylus of Destiny to the realm of the gods.

Background :

 

In your previous life, you were a crook. At a young age, you understood that it was easier to take the money from the other than to work for it. You developed an incredible dexterity and learned to do wonder with your hand to trick people and lighten their possessions.

Living in a world of lies and deceit is sometimes more dangerous than you may think. The blinding pain from the knife in your back reminds you that there are people you should never have messed with.

To help you in your quest Oghma shaped your past life experiences into asset for this world to use.
