Campaign Lore:
You are one of the ten souls brought back from the glimpse of death by the combined power of three divine entities.
Mystra, Kelemvor and Oghma saw in you the spark that makes heroes and they are in dire need of help.
Therefore, you awoken anew in Faerûn, a world governed by gods, magic and monsters. Since as a soul you can’t do much, you’ll be given the body of a freshly fallen adventurer. For you as for him/her, it is a new chance for a second life but this one will not be as easy as you thought. Indeed, you’ve been tasked to accomplish what even the deities cannot, bring back the Stylus of Destiny to the realm of the gods.
Background :
In your previous life, you were a lawyer. Young junior in a big law firm, you climbed the ladder of success with a perfect score on all your cases. It wouldn’t have been long before you got a new higher and better paid position.
The trouble is that justice cost money and sometimes people don’t have enough to get it. Forcing them to take crazy actions like coming to courtroom with an IED. In that matter you didn’t do anything wrong but justice can’t do much when you face an explosion. Life is just not always fair.
