You are still a child and only concerned with childish things: games, friends, and fun. You prioritize play and social encounters, but don't realize how much of the world you are absorbing from your parents–for better or for worse. You don't know what kind of person you are going to be, and you don't really care.
- Skill Proficiencies: acrobatics, performance
- Tool Proficiencies: Disguise Kit (used for playing dress-up, contains more fantastical items than practical ones)
- Languages: One spoken by your parents or guardians.
- Equipment: A stuffed animal(your favorite one you've had since you were a baby), a picture book, a game set (your choice), a set of pajamas, a large pouch of assorted hard candies, a backpack with your name embroidered with a zipper pouch containing 10 gp in assorted small change.
As a child, you immediately make friends with other children anywhere you go. These children will trade small trinkets, scraps of food, and will happily answer any questions you ask (though their information is often incomplete and unreliable). The will also help you find the best hiding spaces in a city or town.
If a hostile person or creature attacks you while you are with other children, the parents and nearby citizens will come to your aid.
Suggested Characteristics
Children are unconsciously shaped, in part, by their communities. Their love of play makes them imaginative and mischievous and their inquisitive nature sometimes makes them susceptible to learning skills they shouldn't. Their bonds and ideals can sometimes seem nonsensical, but in their minds it all makes sense.
