You are a private mercenary; you work for whomever can afford you. You carry out criminal contracts from dirty officials and wealthy clients with hidden agendas. Your repertoire includes kidnapping, smuggling, bounty hunting, and murder. You even do paramilitary work from time to time, and corrupt governments pay you a sizable commission to carry out their war crimes. As such, you have friends in high places, and more than enough blackmail to fill your pockets. You don't choose a side--you play all of them.
Thanks to your relationship with an important government official, you have a safe haven to flea to when you're on the run from trouble. While within one chosen port city, you can get away with any minor criminal offense. For serious crimes committed in this city, you can ask your contact to bail you out of jail. This personal favor does not reset; you must make a new contact to regain the feature.
