Squealer, tattle-tale, snitch, blabbermouth, weasel, narc; you've earned a lot of cynical nicknames over the years. You might not have had a lot of friends as a kid, but you sure knew a lot. Though your popularity was questionable at best, you knew where to get information and who to tell to get ahead. Telling playground secrets might be a thing of the past for you but you now will always have the reputation of being a big-mouth. This may or may not help you acquire jobs as a spy or informant.
- Skill Proficiencies: Choose two of the following skills you've mastered from years of selling people out: stealth, deception, investigation, insight, or perception.
- Tool Proficiencies: Choose one of the following tool kits that you have taught yourself how to use; calligrapher's supplies, cartographer's tools, forgery kit, herbalism kit, navigator's tools, thieves' tools.
- Languages: You gain one additional common language spoken by a group you grew up around, as well as the ability to read and write Thieves' Cant.
- Equipment: A magnifying glass, manacles, stationary kit (paper for letterwriting, ink pen, envelopes, sealing wax), chalk, an old key (that you may or may not know what it unlocks,) and 15 gp.
People trust you to deliver truthful information. When you tell people your real name, there is a chance they have heard of your services. You can use this to your advantage to gain information you might not have otherwise been able to acquire in the form of a persuasion check made at advantage. You may also be sought out by some to perform these types of jobs.
