THIS IS A SORCERER ONLY BACKGROUND
Lords used the power of Fire to light the First Flame and begin the Age of Fire. Only those who are born with the innate ability have the power to wield fire as easily as the elements around them do. Though you possess this ability inherently, there are secrets to fire that a select few have uncovered, and fewer still who have mastered it. Pyromancers are born with power of a Lord, but it must still be trained and perfected. And that only comes by studying those creatures who would also wield fire naturally....
- Skill Proficiencies: Arcana, History
- Languages: Primordial
Infernal - Equipment: A bottle of black ink, a quill, a small knife, a set of common clothes, and a pouch containing 10 gp
When you attempt to learn or recall a piece of lore, if you do not know that information, you often know where and from whom you can obtain it. Usually, this information comes from a learned person or creature, if not the natural occurrence of fire itself. Your DM might rule that the knowledge you seek is secreted away in an almost inaccessible place, or that it simply cannot be found. Unearthing the deepest secrets of the multiverse can require an adventure or even a whole campaign.
Due to your intense study and natural ability with fire, you gain +1d6 damage on all fire attacks against creatures weak to fire.
Suggested Characteristics
Pyromancers are defined by their rough and rugged nature. They're not afraid to go into the deepest reaches of the world to find the knowledge they seek, for if their journey would take their life then the power of fire would consume them anyways.
