Game Hunter: Poacher Image

There are two types of people in the woods: people who hunt, and successful hunters. Never enter the woods without confidence. If you want to kill a mature animal, you have to believe that you can. This has a lot to do with how much preparation you have put into your hunt. A successful hunter may spend months scouting.

You have spent your years honing the art of hunting for food. This has made you adept at tracking, predicting, and killing your chosen prey. Sadly you grew up in such a way that there was no legal access to a hunting ground or a hunting terrain where you could hunt, and as such you had to result to poaching to bone your craft. Killing/stealing the prey of others. Another reason for you to be doing this might also be that you consider all animals to be part of nature and as such they cannot be owned by anyone and should be "fair game" so to speak

You can tell a compelling tale, whether tall or true, to impress and entertain others. Once a day, you can tell your story to willing listeners. At the DM’s discretion, a number of those listeners become friendly toward you; this is not a magical effect, and continued amicability on their part depends on your actions. Use your own ideas of your character's background or work with the DM to come up with a tale of the hunt that suits you or the occasion.

Feature: Hunter Scavenger

Having to make sure all traces of your poaching were removed you have become adept at scavenging and using every part of an animal, you can cook and eat the meat, make knifes out of antlers, and make clothes and blankets out of pelts. You also can make them into rations easily. It takes you half the time to make rations than someone else. Creating the rations requires a fire(for smoking meat) nuts and berries, and some sort of package.

You know how to camouflage yourself like other animals, such as deer and wolves, with their pelts. You can use leather working tools to create a disguise. You gain advantage to all tracking (survival) and stealth checks against creatures with an intelligence of less then 12. The disguise takes 30 min to make, and lasts for 12 hours.

Suggested Characteristics

Hunters are often considered a bit strange, and sometimes they might have problems connecting with people as they tend to focus so much on the aspects of their chosen prey. Or maybe you are very social, and get lonely during your hunting trips and get a bit too eager when you finally meet people and they percieve you as a bit too much
