Born and raised in the wilderness by a clan of druids, you were never introduced to civilization until the campaign begins, or shortly prior. You only speak druidic, and not common, or any other language. As the rest of the druids in your tribe, body language and gesticulation are vital parts of your communication. You and your tribe have learned to control your body language to say exactly what you want, even if you intend to deceive. When you interact with common folk, however, you notice that their minimal attention to unconscious body language and gesticulation reveal their intentions, including if they are an enemy or friend, lying or not, and what emotion they are feeling at the moment (i.e. anxiety, joy, anger, fear, sadness, grief, etc.). You are able to communicate with your party and any NPCs only by pantomiming your thoughts, as they cannot understand you, and you cannot understand them. Your tribe has also trained you to be particularly perceptive in order to better anticipate potential threats from outsiders.
- Skill Proficiencies: You gain expertise in insight and proficiency in perception.
You can't speak common, but are very perceptive and insightful toward body language and visual queues.
