Lumberjack

As heroes and villains are born and die, there remains one constant: people will always need wood. As a lumberjack, it is (or was) your job to chop down, transport and process trees into valuable lumber for towns and cities. Spending months on end in logging communities with your lumber comrades, you have spent your life working hard and simple, something under-appreciated in this world of adventurers.

Equipment: A lumber axe (with proficiency), saw, warm set of traveler's clothes, a special lever designed to winch logs, and 10 gp saved from your salary.

Suggested Characteristics

When you dedicate as much of your life to an occupation as does the humble lumberjack, it reflects on you as a person. Your nature, aspirations, bonds and even your shortcomings can be traced back to your time chopping trees.

1	No matter where I go, I'm always looking for the one I can hunker down with, build a cabin for, and raise a family with.
2	My father, and my father's father before me, were lumberjacks too. I hope to make them proud.

4	I worked for years for a man only to not get paid a copper. One day, I will claim my share.

1	I have a bit of a temper, and when things get personal, I'm more likely to reach for my hatchet than any kind of smithed weapon.
2	People often tell me I have a drinking problem. Or at least, they tell me they told me. I don't remember.
3	I'm a simple man. Cities make me nervous.
4	Why would I listen to some wimpy chin-whiskers when I always know exactly what to do?
5	Hygiene isn't exactly my strong suit.
6	I was never taught etiquette, and those who've tried to teach me have learned what my burps taste like.
