Handmaiden of the Spider Queen

You are one of the Handmaidens of the Spider Queen, an order of female crusaders in service to the Noctis goddess Ducorryn. Also called the "Daughters of the Spider", your order has no ties to specific cities or settlements and is often used when Ducorryn wants an entire city to be brought back into line. As the primary goddess of the Drow species in Opherium, the Spider Queen does not tolerate any deity, even her sister Ariangwe, being placed in a position above her in these cities. Threatening merchants or razing entire cities, the sole mission of your order is to ensure that the will of the Spider Queen is carried out. 

While the vast majority of Handmaidens are Drow females, any species is eligible for this background. Ducorryn is a major deity among the worlds of Opherium and will accept worshipers from any species, though these species will always be secondary to Drow in her eyes.
