You have spent most of your young life training to become a Templar in the service of a sorcerer-king or queen. During this service, you had a moment of empathy or "weakness" that made you question who and what you were serving. You have fled to the wastes of Athas from your former city-state as an outcast. Knowing that returning would result in slavery or more likely, death.
- Skill Proficiencies: Intimidation or Persuasion, Insight or Investigation
- Languages: Your Templar training has resulted in you being literate in common.
- Equipment: An emblem of your city-state, A belt pouch with 150 cp(ceramic pieces), A steel spear or dagger.
Your templar training allows you to channel some of your innate psionic power to harm an enemy. You can use this power to harm an enemy creature for a number of hit points from your pool. Your Pool equals two times your level plus your proficiency modifier. Your Pool can be refreshed by taking a long rest. This power may be channeled through your weapon attack or done as a touch attack.
The targeted creature must make a Constitution saving throw against your Spell Save DC (8 + proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier). Failure causes them to take that amount of necrotic damage. Success equals half damage. Regardless of how much damage is taken, the amount of hit points you specified before the enemy creature rolls its saving throw is used up.
