Hedge Witch

You've grown up in the wilds, away from the bustle of the city, the prying eyes of the nosy, and those who would call you a monster, or worse.  You know the land, and the life that teems around you.  Your spells are bound to the earth, and you know how to use the things of nature to do wondrous things.   Maybe you've made a deal with a fey deity to gain your powers, or perhaps you were born with them, or you'd studied the ancient books and taught yourself how to work the magics that fill the air around us.

Skill Proficiencies: You're skilled with animals, with nature, with the fey, and with herbs and alchemy.  You only use simple weapons, and you feel no comfort in any kind of armor.

Tool Proficiencies: Herbs - growing, collecting from the wild, cultivating, and drying.   Alchemy - knowledge of ingredients, natural and magical, how to collect them, how to store them, and how to prepare them.

Languages: You know the languages of nature, of the fey, of the land.

Equipment: You carry with you the tools needed to work the wonders nature has taught you.

Suggested Characteristics

You are quiet as a mouse, shrewd as a shrew, silent as the owl in flight, and, when necessary, vicious as the wild things that wander the night.  You might have a mouse living in your pocket, which you feed from time to time, and you don't care what others think of you when you have a conversation with your mouse.
