A custom background for use in the Wildemount setting created by Mathew Mercer and Wizards of the Coast for use in Dungeons and Dragons Fifth Edition.
Originally having fled the strange curse upon your ancestral home deep within the Savalirwood, your tribe formed out of necessity to survive. Though directionless and struggling to find a new place to call home, The Clan, as they came to call themselves, was forced to make a pilgrimage south through grave hardships and many casualties. Having traveled southeast from the Greying Wildlands and across the Dunrock Mountains, your people eventually found themselves wandering the wastes of Xhorhas. Salvation from the northern wastes came in the form of the Kryn Dynasty drow. Moved by this act of mercy, the Clan was given to make an oath to the Dynasty and, as family legend would have it, to Empress Leylas Kryn's household directly. The Clan pledged that should any member or their decedent discover any information about a Beacon, you would pay your debt by bringing word to the Empress
