Blamed for the wrongdoings of another as a means of convenience, or as the cause of some unexplained events. You have been cast from society carrying the burdens of your "guilt", symbolized by a cloak of goat skin and a drinking horn made from that of a ram. Stripped of your old life you have taken to the wilds to find a means of existence and possibly a new lease on life.

The crime in question in serious, but the evidence against you is lacking, though significantly powerful persons are vocal that you are the cause of the travesty. A section in your society's law provides for a resolution in this case; BANISHMENT.

The weight of the burden assigned to you is visible to others to whom you spend time conversing with. Those of good or neutral alignment, or whose demeanor inclines them to be sympathetic, are more likely to provide simple assistance in what means they can.

Suggested Characteristics

As a person who was not necessarily a criminal, but was necessarily treated like one, many options could apply. A dive into criminality, a longing for redemption, or a search for vengeance could be driving factors. Sorrow for those who fall under the authority that ousted you, a hatred for said authority, or a persistent feeling of betrayal may be present themselves in your demeanor.
