You were sent by a lord or lady of another land in an effort to forge a new relationship with whatever kingdom you now reside. As an ambassador you gain special privileges, but it may be hard for you to find trust among those in high positions of the government.
- Skill Proficiencies: You have proficiency in the Persuasion, and Insight.
- Tool Proficiencies: You gain proficiency in one tool commonly used in your homeland, as well as either one instrument or game of the kingdom you have been sent to.
- Languages: You learn one additional language.
- Equipment: You have a set of papers that prove your ambassador status, 25 gold, and a set of travelers clothes from your homeland.
As an ambassador you can gain an audience from nobles of this new land who might wish to hear what your lord or lady seeks, but some may be stubborn, especially if they have a disliking of your kingdom. Additionally you can send letters to your lord or lady detailing any information you have found, as well as ask for small favors from them, such as loans or a new set of documentation, perhaps under a false name.
