Guardian Image

Since as far back as you can remember, you have been the first line of defense. Whether it was always in your nature to defend others, or you came to realize that this was the only way to protect what you love, you are a shield for those who need it. And sometimes for those who don’t.

Moment of Truth

Whether you’ve always been in the habit of defending or if it is a fairly new behavior for you, there was a moment where you realized what you were doing. You made a choice that sticks out in your mind, though you might feel it was never your choice to make. Choose or randomly determine the Moment of Truth that revealed you were a Guardian.

d10 Moment of Truth
1 I stood up to a bully who was pestering my classmate.
2 I pulled people to safety during a terrible accident.
3 I jumped into traffic to protect a small animal.
4 I stopped a bar brawl by putting myself in the midst of it.
5 I talked someone out of a hostage situation by using myself as leverage.
6 When ordered to kneel before a terrible force, I walked up to that force and yawned.
7 I led the effort to evacuate a burning building.
8 I stood alone in protest to protect a building that was important to my town.
9 I distracted burglars long enough to let the civilians escape a store.
10 I jumped in front of what I thought was an exploding object to protect others from the blast.

Feature: I'm Sparticus

Your bravery is an inspiration to others, and it can pay you back tenfold. If you are knocked unconscious during a battle near multiple Civilians, they will move you to safety if they feel they are able, and will attempt to stabilize you, resulting in advantage to your death saving throws.
