Occultist Image

You spent years learning the lore of the far realm. You scoured manuscripts, studied scrolls, and done all that is in your power to learn more about the occult. Your sanity has been tested again and again. Some may say you are mad, but you know more secrets now than they could ever hope to learn.

Skill Proficiencies: Arcana, History
Languages: Two exotic languages of your choice
Equipment: A bottle of black ink, a quill, a small knife, the skull of a former colleague, a set of common clothes, and a pouch containing 10 gp

Feature: Eldritch Boons

Your constant dabbling in the lore and myth of eldritch beings has granted you an obscure insight into the devices of eldritch entities. Whenever you come across aberrations and similar horrors of the dark, they may remain neutral towards you where they would normally attack others. Generally, this feature would not make a hostile creature non-hostile, but it may enable a sort of line of communication with such a monster which other creatures would not have access to.
