You spend long periods of time on the hunt, often not returning to civilization for weeks to months at a time. With long hunts in mind you know you can never have too much ammunition so you carry a second quiver of arrows. Over this time you have learned the ways of the solitary life and are able to provide for yourself with provisions, weapons, and ammunition. Spending time, most often alone, away from the rest of the world has taught you how to fend for yourself in many ways. You know the world around you. The land, the plants, and the animals are like the back of your hand. You know which herbs go good in food just as well as which ones can help fix wounds. The solitary life suits you best but returning to civilization after a successful hunt allows you to peddle the fruits of your labors.

Your time spent away from civilization on long hunts sometimes forces you to have to make your own weapons, ammunition, food, and natural medicine from the land around you. You use the woodcarver's tools to make wooden weapons and ammunition from what you can find. You do best when you are away from civilization for extended periods. You find peace in the wild and in the hunt like no other place in the world.
You have an excellent memory for maps and geography, and you can always recall the general layout of terrain, settlements, and other features around you. In addition you can find food and fresh water for yourself and possibly more people each day, provided that the land offers berries, small game, water and so forth. You can also utilize the trees, rocks, animals you have hunted, and other natural items to create weapons(bows, arrows, spears, javelins, etc.) using your woodcarver's tools as well as well as making simple medicines and potions to cure wounds with your herbalism kit.
