You grew up on the streets and learned to provide for yourself. You've slept under buildings, in homeless shelters, on the stairs of local temples, and you would swipe food, fight over tert and were always on the lookout for those who'd challenge you for what little you have on you.  Despite this, you've pulled it together and started to make a life.  You found work, and though it was often laborious, it taught you much on how to survive.

The streets are in our blood, but you've bridged this gap and are making some changes.  You may be a lookout for a local fence at night, while working at the docks at night.  You may be an enforcer for a local boss, while being security at the local tavern.  You walk along the fine line of being someone who others look at as stable labor, and working the shadows at night.  Life pushed you to embrace the night, but in your heart you know not to let the darkness take over.

Because of this, you often have one or more personas that you keep in order to make sure you're hard to trace.
