Arsonist Image

You were called by the flame at any early age. Eventually you answered the call. You burned whatever you could get your hands on, starting with small flames at first. As your obsession grew, so too did the damage to the world around you. Whether you chose to stoke the flame before it became too great to hinder, or accept the flame and fall more deeply into the pyre, your dance with the flame has left a lasting mark on your body and mind.

Ruled By The Flame

Arsonists come in many shapes and forms. Some can control their urges from day-to-day by way of keeping a small box of incense with them. Others plot to set fires only when the conditions are favorable, waiting until they find something that would undoubtedly make a spectacular fire. Others still, banish themselves from society entirely, choosing instead to live in solitude. Some view it as a sickness while others few it as a crutch, while there are those that have accepted the flame as the right way. Choose what kind of person you want to be, before you choose what kind of arsonist you are, and spur the chaos (or lack there of) within yourself.

Feature: The Burning

You have shaped the flames all your life, and know exactly how to set fire to anything. As long as you have your alchemist's supplies with you, and a way of spiking flame (such as a tinderbox, lit torch, etc.) you can set fire to any single object you can touch. This flame is not considered magical, and begins in a 1ft square, then to 5ft square, then to 10ft square , doubling every minute. A simple action by a medium creature can stoke a 5ft square's worth of fire.

Suggested Characteristics

Much like the fire that they produce, arsonists refuse to be quelled. Authority gets on their nerves, and they have a hard time relating to other people who don't have similar obsessions. They find it difficult understanding people who covet their easily burnable homes or cherish their dry farmlands, leaning towards the idea of nothing being too sacred. That is not to say that they cannot rule over their own fires, but it should be noted that their mind set is slightly warped by their time setting things ablaze.
