d8 Personality Trait
1 I find those who are less intelligent than me very irritating.
2 I often pretend to know more than I do, which can often lead to some difficult situations.
3 I enjoy help others, especially in the field of the arcane or other academic pursuits. No matter how...patient I need to be.
4 I love discovering new information and solving mysteries.
5 I like to flaunt my smarts, especially around those of less intelligence.
6 I always attempt to "dumb-down" my speech, when speaking to those who are of lower intelligence than myself. I need to do this quite often.
7 I prefer books and scrolls over other people, which has had the side affect of making me very awkward in social situations.
8 I’m convinced that people are always trying to steal my secrets. My research is my own, and I will protect it from others at all costs.
d6 Ideal
1 Knowledge. The path to power and self-improvement is through knowledge. (Neutral)
2 Teaching. What is the point of knowledge other than to spread it? Everyone should have a good education. (Good)
3 Logic. Emotions must not cloud our logical thinking. (Lawful)
4 No Limits. Nothing should fetter the infinite possibility inherent in all existence. (Chaotic)
5 Power. Knowledge is the path to power and domination. (Evil)
6 Self-Improvement. The goal of a life of study is the betterment of oneself. (Any)
d6 Bond
1 It is my duty to discover the lost lores of the world.
2 During my research, I discovered something truly horrible. I mustn't let it fall into the wrong hands.
3 I was invited to the school by an unknown practitioner of the arcane from the school, I wasn't a prodigy like the others. I seek to discover who they are, and why they did so.
4 I have spent years researching a specific topic. I have written several manuscripts and have discovered many things, but I am in no way done.
5 I have done something that would most certainly result in my expulsion if it was discovered. I can't let that happen.
6 I was expelled from the school. I want back in by any means possible.
d6 Flaw
1 If there is an opportunity to gain information, more often than not I will take it.
2 I will place myself in harm's way if it means gaining information on a given topic.
3 I will use any magic available to me to accomplish my goals, no matter how dark or forbidden.
4 I often overcomplicate things, even when there is a more obvious, simple solution.
5 I think that I'm better than anyone who is less intelligent than me, and I'm not afraid to let them know.
6 If someone is seeking information from me, I tell them. I'm horrible at keeping secrets, even if it means the life of another.

d4 Contact
1 Student - You have made a friend from your time at the college. Another student of the arcane. You can go to them for help with the arcane, perhaps a small favor, or even just for someone to talk to. They rarely ask for anything in return,.
2 Teacher - You have a teacher that you look to for support. They are great for academic help, though not much else. They may ask for something in return the more difficult it is for them.
3 Librarian - You know one of the librarian that monitor the large library at the college. They may be able to get you into some of the more restricted areas of the library. They will likely ask for a favor in return.
4 Expelled Student - You know someone who got expelled from the school. It may be hard to find them, but they may be useful. They will ask for something in return.

Variant Student of Frosoren: Frosoren Dropout/Expelled

Something happened and you dropped out. Maybe you accidentally set a part of the school ablaze, perhaps you "accidentally" killed someone on purpose, or maybe the place just wasn't for you. Whatever the case, you still remember a few of the things you learned from the place.

Variant Feature: Dropout/Expelled

Although you have lost access to the school's facilities, you have picked up useful skills. You have an easier time looking for information than others and often know where you can find it.

Not to mention, your reputation is one that is both looked at with admiration and disdain. You can find several allies due to this, however, you can find plenty of enemies as well.
