You have been heavily involved in the creation, development, and study of an artisan craft. You can easily discern the quality, origin, and condition of others crafts the same way a sommelier can identify the content of a wine. You have made your own in the past, with a team of researchers, or by yourself in your own workshop. You have spent hours poring over blueprints and designs of your own as well as those of other scholars, in the pursuit of creating the next technological revolution. You can easily trace the origins and inspiration of any novel designs, as well as identify the signature of any fellow artisans on their personal creations. Likewise, you have your own signature on that which you create. Additionally, if given the schematics, the materials, and the tools ready, you could easily recreate a design, at the DM's discretion.

Feature: I'd Recognize That Anywhere!
You can immediately identify the quality, condition, and origin of any object of your specialty's craft that you are able to physically handle. You know if it has been cared for properly or abused, repaired or about to fall apart. Additionally, you can identify the artisan who crafted this object, be it by recognizing the craftsmanship, or by the touchmark signature that some artisans place on their creations.
Suggested Characteristics
Arcane Artisans come in many forms, and from many backgrounds. Some are involved in the creation of war machines and weapons, while others seek to map new frontiers. The thing all of them have in common is that the creations they make all have the same intention: to revolutionize the world.
