Growing up you discovered you have an innate ability to use spells and were more resilient than the average person and this was noticed by those who you grew up around, eventually leading to some people of power to take notice. From an early age whether your family was prestigious already or dirt poor, your families status has improved noticeably. You received ample physical training as well as an education on the level of well respected nobles, and were taught by some of the best as people like yourself are a rarity. Seeing as you were naturally able to magic from early age without any training and how resilient you were, you were groomed to be a warrior and a wielder of magic.
- Skill Proficiencies: You are proficient in arcana and 2 of the following skills; athletics, acrobatics, History, Nature, Religion, Medicine, and Survival.
- Languages: You know 1 language of your choice
You know 2 cantrips and a 1st level spell from the cleric, sorcerer, and wizard spell list. The cantrips may be cast an unlimited amount of times and do not require any material components when cast with this ability, and the 1st level spell, which must be chosen after a short rest, may be casted up to 3 times in the same manner. The spells must be casted at their lowest level and Intelligence or Wisdom is your spell casting modifier for these spells. Due to your prestigious combat and magical training, your input is respected, giving you some influence in both military and civil matters with court nobles, generals, and possibly even some priests. This gives you advantage on persuasion checks when it comes to military, arcane, or civil matters in locations where your teachers and masters are known and respected with said groups of people. You may also find it easier to find a place to stay, receive aid or resources, or even some information with the same group of people although they may not always be trustworthy.
Suggested Characteristics
Your characteristics such as your alignment and characteristics should most likely fall inline with the alignment and characteristics of the area that provided your education and training, however, it is possible that you could secretly have your own agenda not caring about theirs or even oppose their ideals, causing your alignment and characteristics to secretly be different or the opposite if not accepted.
