Fey Child Image

Everyone has heard tales of enchanted forests, ancient stone circles predating civilization, places where the barrier of our reality is weak. Stories of brave young men entering the deep, dark woods, only to return not looking a day older. Old wives tales of children getting offered in bargains with sidhe in exchange for great beauty, wealth, or some other unattainable thing. Most take these fairy tales with a grain of salt.

You are living proof they are real.

You spent your formative years in the Fey Wilds living with the supernatural fey. Perhaps you found yourself lost in the woods? Maybe you were traded by your parents in some kind of fey pact? Or even yet kidnapped by prankster fairies or a coven of insidious hags?

Now after a lifetime in the fey wilds, you find yourself back in the prime material world either by chance or on purpose.

Maybe you were curious to learn where you came from? Maybe you finally escaped those who held you captive? Whatever the reason, you're here now, and it's up to you to determine where your story heads from here.

Variant Fey Child: Alternate Feature: Unnaounced Arcana

Alternate Feature: Unnaounced Arcana

Growing up in the Fey Wilds may have granted you otherworldly powers, but that does mean you can control them. It also gave you powerful emotions, towering peaks of joy, incredible valleys of depression, surges of fiery anger. In these times random shenanigans to occur.

When you roll a natural 1 or a natural 20, roll 1d20. On a 1 a wild magic surge happens. The DM can determine other scenarios that cause this to occur.

Variant Feature: Otherworldy Beauty

Otherworldly Beauty

Spending time in the fey wild has altered your appearance making you more like the Fey Wild. You can at will take on the appearance of the beautiful and otherworldly fey.

When you use this ability you can control your appearance, changing your hair color, eye color; and skin color. You can make your hair wavy or straight, longer or shorter. Your statistics do not change, and you still look like yourself.

Though they might fear you, commoners are aware of your connection to the Fey and will extend you every courtesy and do their utmost to help you. Unless you have shown yourself to be a danger to them, they will even take up arms to fight alongside you, should you find yourself facing an enemy alone.
