Raised By Dwarves Image

<note - this is not meant for dwarvish characters>
You grew up as a dwarf, believing you are one - despite the physical characteristics that made others suspicious of where you came from. Your unusual size was the object of curiosity and slight exclusion, but you embody the hard working, straightforward, and stubbornness of "your" race

Starting at the 3rd level, you may add a feat(one of which you meet the prerequisites for). To do so, you must complete two short rests or one long rest(both uninterrupted) reflecting on your trainings and the skills you have learned along your journey.

Skill Proficiencies: You have picked up some characteristics as you grew up among the dwarves (Athletics, Survival, or History) and a way to convince others that you are a dwarf - or at least keep quiet about their disbelief (Intimidation or Persuasion)
Tool Proficiencies: Your father has passed on some knowledge to you during your apprenticeship (see background)
Equipment: An token from someone you care about from your home clan (a finely crafted jewlery piece, wooden token, or other trinket), a heavy weapon from your father, a set of common clothes, and a pouch containing 10 gp

Specialty

Your slightly eccentric father raised you as a dwarf, both in attitude and as an apprentice to his role. Roll a D6 or select an option for his job and, therefore, what he passed down to you.

d6 Specialty
1 Blacksmith (Pick Smith's tools)
2 Guard (Pick dice set or three-dragon ante set)
3 Miner (Pick Mason's tools)
4 Clan Leader (pick any)
5 Brewer (Pick Brewer's supplies)
6 Craftsman (Pick Jewler's tools or Carpenter's tools)

Feature: Dwarvish Renown

You are known within clans that your home clan trades with. Dwarves in your clan recognize you and will support you however they can in your adventure and support your belief that you are a dwarf. Other clans generally know about you and your situation and will treat you like a dwarf, if not a bit more helpful. Dwarves that do not know you still feel some kinship due to your mannerisms and ability to relate to their experience, even if they are a bit confused about the overall situation.

Suggested Characteristics

Growing up in a Dwarvish society, you have emulated their straightforward and generally honest characteristics. Although you believe you are a dwarf, you have always felt like a bit different and sensitive about the physical differences between you and those around you.

Suggested alignment: Lawful Good

Suggested religion: Morndinsamman (Dwarven pantheon lead bey Moradin)

d1 Flaw
1 Quick to anger - especially when it is pointed out you don't look like a dwarf
