Iceblade (Court of Winter)

You have been brought up in the wastes of the Frozen Lands of the Feywild. You were either born here, or maybe you found yourself within the wonderous realm at a young age, spirited away from the Material Plane. Either way, for a major portion of your life, you grew up with many fey beings, either with good or bad intentions.

You belong to the Winter Court, a solemn place, where the darkness and icy cold of winter shroud the land. However warmth may also be found within the Frozen Lands, as families and friends gather together around crackling hearths and fires to share stories and good food and drink. You decided to join the rank of those who guide and protect those who travers the harsh and cold of the Frozen Lands wastes. As an Iceblade of Winter you protect travellers going between outskirt settlements and the Winter Court of Queen Maeb, but you also ensure that the creatures inhabiting the leafless forests and icy fields of the Frozen Lands are not unduely harmed.

The snow and ice-covered landscape surrounded by tall and looming mountains has been your entire life, however, your time in the feywild has come to an end. You have travelled to the Material Plane, either by chance or purpose. Maybe you were looking for a new adventure? Maybe you wanted to explore the realm where so many adventurers stumbled in from? Maybe you were curious to learn where you came from? Maybe you wanted to escape those who held you captive? Whatever the reason, you're here now, and it's up to you to determine where your story heads from here.

Most Fey of the Winter Court are solemn and vengeful creatures, where even the kinder ones have a tendency towards cruelty. The Fey of the Winter Court can come across as sorrowful and ruthless beings, however many also possess the warm and giving countenance associated with the Midwinter Soltace celebrations. Creatures of the Frozen Lands are hardy and resilient beings, and must possess a steely determination to survive in the harsh conditions of the wastes. Whether you embrace the kindness and warmth of midwinter or the harshness and ruthlessness of the winter ice is your choice.

1	I am quite ruthless towards those who have wronged me or I don't like. That's pretty much everyone, really.
2	No matter the situation, I tend to be in a sulky and/or solemn mood.
3	I am quite mischevious. I rarely let an opportunity to trick someone pass me by.
4	I tend to be skittish and/or hostile towards others.
5	I'm hesitant to trust this strange and unwelcome world.
6	I embody the flighty and independent nature of the Fey. I am constantly restless and can never stay in one place for too long.
7	I openly criticise everyone and everything around me, even if it makes me seem cruel.

1	Trickster. A little prank when the opportunity presents itself keeps the rest of the world on their toes (Chaotic).
2	Kidness. I wish to embody the giving and warm spirit of midwinter. The greatest value there is is warmth and kindness to shelter people from the harsh realities of the world (Good).
3	Independence. The shackles of society are not for me (Chaotic).
4	Vengeance. Any harm that befalls me or mine is not forgiven nor forgotten. I carry out my revenge ruthlessly and cruelly (Evil).
5	Indifference. The world is a cold place, and caring for others only bring sorrow. It's better to avoid personal connections and close ties (Neutral).
6	Power. Those around me are only good for being the stepping stones I crush under my heels as I aim to reach the peak of power (Evil).
