The Dassie are a strange folk, often being so small they can be carried by the weakest elves. They also have the speech to stop a cleric from praying. They hail from northlands, and often have pure white coats of feathers and black talons, often creating a cartoonish contrast of shades. The Dassie are naturally horrible at combat, but healing or protecting is no big task for them with their "built-in magic songs." Dassie are stealthy, and have the ability to protect people's minds when they are in a peaceful state. Their often black beaks extend the length of human child's large toe and have, an oddity for birds, ears and horns. Their ears are often small and catlike. Despite naturally being prey, their eyes are closer to front facing.

- Equipment: Light armor for Dassies is most efficent, especially leather or cloth as it does not irritate their feathers or skin.
With their telepathy ability, Dassie are able to see what other things want to literally see and Dassie folk are ablr to alter their vision to match that. It also works with the opposite of what they want to see and the entire spectrum.
