Not only do you need to determine your childhood, but you should also work with the DM to describe your family and their influence on you. And you also need to discuss what led you to leaving your Kingdom for the life of an Adventurer.
What’s your position in the family? Are you the heir to the head of the family? Or are you so far down the line of inheritance that no one cares what you do, as long as you don’t embarrass the family? How does the head of your family feel about your adventuring career? Are you in your family’s good graces, or shunned by the rest of your family?
Was your Kingdom destroyed? Invaded? or were you simply pushed out for political gain?
These details help establish your family and your history as features of the world of the campaign.

Thanks to your noble birth, you were educated by some of the best teachers in your Kingdom. For this your skills are sharper than most Nobel's and you are welcome in high society. The common folk make every effort to accommodate you and avoid your displeasure, and other people of high birth treat you as a member of the same social sphere. You can secure an audience with a local noble if you need to.

The Royals are born to rule and therefore raised to a very different lifestyle than almost everyone else. Their personality should reflect this Nobel status and yet the fact that they were educated and raised outside of the Royal household means that they are likely less pompous than other Royals. The Royal title comes with a plethora of bonds-responsibilities to family, your Kingdom, the Nobility, to the people entrusted to your families care. But you are also lacking the experience of being raised around these groups, and so would be less inclined to be confident before them.
