Simple rumors, for example, may be positive or negative stories about individuals, intended to spark adoration or fear. How far the rumor spreads, given the size of the town and social structure is at the DM's discretion. Complex rumors will likely not travel very far, as details are quickly lost.

Resilience is a common trait among sucessful prostitutes; they understand that work and dogged persistence are required to get anything worth having. They understand that all people have skills and traits of value to contribute to the world, even if they have not discovered them yet. Many prostitutes, retired or active, are drawn to the promises of luxury and comfort.
