Feature: One of Us
Since you come from the ranks of the common folk, you fit in among them with ease. You can always find work on a farm, ranch or similar places in a rural area, earning enough to live a modest lifestyle. The people in these places are less likely to rat you out, if someone is looking for you and your party unless their lives are at imminent risk.
Suggested Characteristics
Farmers and Ranchers look on their humble origins as a virtue, not a shortcoming, and their home communities remain very important to them. They are used to long days of manual labor every day of the year, as no heavenly host will come down to tend to the fields and/or animals for them, but will rarely complain about that fact. In balance, they'll seldomly pass an occasion to join in on a celebration or feast, enjoying song, dance, sharing food and homebrewed beverages, laughing and chatting with neighbors and friends or even strangers.

Posted Jul 26, 2022This is a really neat spin on a Folk Hero type background but really leans into the actual small town folk vibe. I love it! Can't save it cause I don't have a subscription but definitely will use it in some of my games, thank you!
