Descended From the blood of the Thel family, who were powerful warriors from before the calamity who endured it's chaos and destruction, the bloodline became cursed when Vendu'thel, champion of Ioun, sought to defeat Tharizdun within the abyss, and disappeared, his blade being all that remained, since then, the blood has been cursed, great strength and power at the cost of misfortune and terrible tragedy, many of the Thel's being scattered across, taldorei, wildemount, and even beyond the multiverse of exandria, they are hunted down by the forces of evil, and especially the followers of the chained oblivion itself.

Surviving the curse
Thel blood is cursed from birth, though in their lives something happens that alters the course of their lives forever, a curse given to them specifically they must overcome or survive with to move on.
