Formerly you held great influence and wealth with your title of Knight, following the orders, practices, and ideals of your brotherhood. After some unfortunate events you began to question your brotherhood secretly or maybe even openly. While harmless many ended up questioning you and your new ideals, methods, and actions, with some even taking physical action to remove you, beat you back into line, or just dispose of you. Eventually whatever you may have been doing and how despite how secretly you were doing it, some others who did like you nor what you were now doing. You were removed from your order and forced to flee as multiple very influential people, including your brotherhood's leader, had all put an order out to either bring you back for extreme disciplining or just called for your head. After laying low or moving far away the call for your head had ceased. Now you follow your new ideals or methods continuing what you were doing, whatever it may be, when you were exiled, determined to maybe get revenge, reclaim what you lost, create your own order, or maybe something else entirely.

You can seek refuge at places that may support your new way of doing or reason for doing things, (this can vary depending on how you act and what you do and for why) such as a scholar's chambers, a temple, bandit hideout, or even new or your own outposts for your new brotherhood. They may also provide some minimal assistance such as food, water, clothes, etc. if they can afford to do so. Places that do not support or recognize who you are or what you do will simply just turn you away. Doing this may possibly find you work or trouble, but more often won't.
