In Kæodonia, art is very systematic, just like anything else. The Academy of Fine Arts serves as the main center of art and culture and they work with strict rules and procedures. Without academy ties, it is immensely difficult to get any of your work displayed or finding an independent patron. That's why, most academy artists tend to be well off and visibly proud of their work.

Screw the Academy and their stupid way of life! Art comes from one's soul, not from rules or prestige!
You were either kicked out of the academy, left it willingly, or never joined it. Does not mean you are any less talented though. You found creative ways to express yourself nonetheless.
