You were created by an entity on the Plane of Shadow for some purpose, usually mysterious or nefarious. You might have been alive once, but you don't remember. What you do know is that you were sent into the world to serve the will of some dark power. You can try to resist, but maybe that's what it wants?

- Equipment: A token of the being that raised you, a set of common clothes, and a pouch containing 15 gp.
Feature: Shadow Visions
You are occasionally given visions or insights about the intentions or actions of others. These might come from the entity that created you, or might be something else. If you focus on a person for a minute or so, you can sometimes get an idea of the weight of their sins. This ability doesn't always work, and what information you get, if any, is at the DM's discretion.
Suggested Characteristics
A Shadowed character is often emotionally distant, and may be uncertain of themselves. They may rely on the mission from their dark master to give them purpose and identity. They may also seek to find who they were before they died, and may have fragmentary memories of being alive.
