You have grown accustom to higher ups that don't give a shit and just doing whatever it takes to get the job done, often in spite of the rules. You've an eye for bullshit and can spot it a mile away, which often comes in handy when you need to create some bullshit of your own.

You are used to having to just get the job done no matter what. It doesn't matter if you have insufficient time, resources, or support, the work's still gotta get done. You can doctor the paperwork later. Using this feature, twice per long rest, you can use any tool set you are proficient with as a substitution for any other tool set and receive half your proficiency bonus on any associated rolls.
Suggested Characteristics
Shipyard workers are typically stubborn and think they know everything. When doing something, they default to methods that have been successful in the past and are reluctant to try something new. Shipyard workers also respond to every situation with cursing.
