Marked Heretic Image

There's no question that what you've done is wrong, but you stand by what you did. Whether it was for the good of the world or not, or for your own personal reasons, no one else needs to know. And you owe them no explanation. Unfortunately, people don't care for heretics, even if you have information others need. Thus, you stick to the outside of cities and towns, only going into them when you absolutely need it.

How the markings look vary from person to person and sometimes it's not always visible. Most of the marks are found either on the backs of the hands, on a person's face (usually on the left side around their eye), the neck, or on their back.

Feature: Marked

Because markings and a church has deemed you a heretic, no one is willing to deal with you. Most people go out of their way to avoid you or personally give you trouble. However, people would be surprised how many come to you for information when they're desperate. Your mark makes you easily identifiable, for both good and bad reasons. Other heretics can recognize you and offer shelter if you're in trouble with the law or if others are hunting you. They can also provide information on different people, locations, and items that you don't already know.

Suggested Characteristics

Most people who have become heretics don't feel a need to help others. However, some regret their actions and may try to atone for them.
